Growth Statement

Throughout the semester, my concentration shifted from movement in general towards movement such as science, animals, and figures. Overall, as a artist I tried different media and methods that I wasn't as comfortable with before such as pallet and paint. I tried to go bigger and do larger drawings and paintings but I was only able to do a few. An area in which I must greatly improve on. I became more confident with myself in taking more risks and trying new methods. All in all, I would say that I improved as a artist. I developed new techniques while attempting to create the illusion of movement in my drawings and paintings such as erasing and redrawing the figure to give the look of movement.
